His live and DJ sets bridges the gap between shape-shifting experimentalism, sunken abstraction and clever mixtures of gridlocked rhythms, verbed-out melodies and faux-organic envelopes.
Through his music Tolkachev ultimately demonstrates the unlimited breadth and scope of his talent for sculpting pared-down techno statements that transcend both space and time, mood and atmosphere, trends and patterns.
