Techno was created and developed far away from the mainstream. The underground sound got its deserved popularity in the past few years but there is a lot of movement in sound with sub-genres and a lot of talent you may not hear about.
We believe underground producers and labels deserve special recognition, so we will be dedicating our new feature series to this cause.
This week we will have a look into a rising name on the underground scene, Anahit Vardanyan.
Born in Armenia, Anahit Vardanyan was hooked to the piano since her very early days. Anahit moves to Germany in 2016, pumped with passion for music. Being constantly in the studio to work on her dark and melodic compostions.
As a perfectionist, she spends as much time as possible in the studio. During the weekends Anahit Vardanyan presents herself on stage.
Speaking of her music, Anahit released her debut EP ‘Free Fall’ on Kitchen Recordings back in 2019. Her breakthrough release that caught the ears of techno fans worldwide was ‘Tatev’ EP, released on Hydrozoa.
In 2022 Anahit released three singles on Alaula Music, the latest being ‘Simplicity’ released on October 28th.
