Amelie Lens dropped a solid debut EP called ‘Exhale” on the Italian Lyase Recordings. Her EP caught the attention of the legendary acts such as Pan-Pot, Maceo Plex & more which further propelled her career to new heights. Later on, she got signed to Pan-Pot’s imprint Second State. She also won an award for the track “Exhale” at RedBull Elektropedia Awards 2016.
Before getting into DJing, Amelie was working in the fashion industry which she quitted in 2014 & started performing under the name Renée (her late mother’s name). With her sets full of heavy bass minimal techno tunes she earned a residency at the Labyrinth Club in Hasselt, Belgium.
Amelie Lens has three beloved cats named Winter, Morris, and Frank. She loves them a lot, as you might have seen on her social media handles where she posts a lot about them.
