Releases: Aril Brikha & Sebastian Mullaert – Radiate / Illuminate

2016 sees Sebastian Mullaert holding a quality list of releases and touring the world.
His first vinyl release in 2016 has been dropped this month on Mule Musiq and features two tracks by Aril Brikha and Mullaert himself. The tracks are called “Illuminate” and “Radiate” and pretty much follow their names in the trippy melody. Illuminate is light and ding-dong, while “Radiate” is a full-weight dancefloor heater.
After sixteen years as a half of Minilogue, Sebastian Mullaert went solo in 2014.
He is an artist who resides on the philosophical side of dance music, leaning towards the spiritual role which music plays in our lives. He is interesting to watch live, as his approach is very open-minded. Given the proper amount of time, he can take the crowd on a musical journey, where they will go through ups and downs and stop for a beatless break just when it’s needed. Mullaert doesn’t put himself or his crowd into any frames, so be ready to hear techno that goes a bit acidy-progressive, and then a bit trancy and chilly. And maybe something else.
