Oscar Mulero, Exium and Reeko return for the third and final instalment of Seleccion Natural, celebrating Pole Group’s 50th release.
A project where each core PoleGroup artist contributes various elements to tracks at random, the concept of Seleccio?n Natural generates a sound representative of the label’s true musical aesthetic.
“You’ll never know who is making what. It’s just Oscar Mulero, Exium and Reeko in essence and mixed up.’’ – Pole Group
‘Necton’ starts things off with broken beats, ominous atmospherics and plucky synth blips before pulsating subs and an amalgamation of rising white noise samples are demonstrated in the obscure ‘Prokaryotic’. On the flip side, ‘Replicant Isolation’ delivers complex rhythms with a combination of revolving effects and short, twisted synths before the package is concluded using thundering low end drones and delayed arpeggios in ‘Transmutation’.
Seleccion Natural’s ‘Seleccion Natural’ drops on Pole Group 14th September.
