Muhammad Ali – the self-proclaimed “Greatest” boxer and the most loved athlete in the world, died on June 3 2016 at the age of 74.
Ali (born Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. in Kentucky), was not only famous for his unique boxing career, but also for his fight for human rights and deep philosophical approach to life.
His star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is placed on the wall, because he didn’t want his name walked on “by people who have no respect for me”.
The turned-Muslim also said: “I bear the name of our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it is impossible that I allow people to trample over his name,”
