Weddings and festivals are things with the same goals, having people dancing and being happy, well maybe not. Although we see many wedding raves now, some couples about to be married just can see them selves at this kind of celebration.
According to Mixmag, that’s what got Diynamic Festival cancelled. Festival where Solomun, Magdalena and more were about to play was meant to happen in Morden Park, London on September 8. It had its licence rejected by Merton Council. MJMK, the festival’s organizers, have described the decision as “unfair and unjust”.
Among the complainants were those with weddings in nearby registry office, Morden Park House. One bride even started a petition against the festival which has garnered over 700 signatures.
The wife-to-be said: “Loud house music and thousands of people wandering around Morden Park would absolutely spoil anyone’s wedding day.”
