Ukrainian DJ and producer Marika Rossa has unveiled CONNECT, a new initiative designed to bring together electronic music artists from around the world through collaborative productions. Following the recent launch of her SWEETHARD label, CONNECT aims to strengthen international ties within the underground techno community by pairing artists from different countries on original releases.

The project is built around the principles of collaboration, creative freedom, and cultural exchange, with each track serving as a connection between diverse scenes, experiences, and musical influences.

According to the project’s manifesto, CONNECT was created in response to an increasingly divided world, emphasizing the role of underground music as a force that unites people across borders through a shared passion for electronic music.

Marika Rossa has already begun building the network through collaborations with Helen Frey, Angy Kore, SAMDMA, and Marie Vaunt, representing France, Italy, Austria, and the United States respectively. The initiative arrives during a busy period for Marika Rossa, whose newly launched SWEETHARD imprint recently entered Beatport’s Best New Hard Dance chart. Known for blending schranz, hard techno, and neo-rave influences, the Ukrainian artist has spent more than two decades building a reputation on international stages and within the harder spectrum of electronic music.

With CONNECT, Marika Rossa hopes to create an expanding global network of artists connected through underground culture, encouraging new creative partnerships and fostering collaboration over competition. “Every release is more than just a collaborative track. It is a connection between countries, different stories, different realities, and different sounds speaking one universal language – the language of sound,” the project states. CONNECT is now officially underway, with additional international collaborations expected to follow.
