KiNK is set to launch a new alias and live set, kirilik, and will release his debut EP under this moniker via Len Faki’s Figure. ‘Infinity Is Not A Number’ will hit the shops on June 11th on 12″ vinyl and digital formats.
KiNK aka Strahil Velchev is well known for his outstanding live shows and his kirilik project presents a new way to perform his sound. Inspired by American DJs who used to support their DJ sets with a drum machine back in the 80’s and early 90’s, Velchev decided to break down this approach and to turn it upside down using the DJ gear as instruments. The setup for kirilik consists of the drum machine to create all rhythms and layering additional sonic elements from 3 CD players.
Kirilik is a stage project by Strahil Velchev a.k.a. KiNK. Kirilik is using a standard DJ equipment and a drum machine, to perform his own music live. Infinity is not a number will be released on Figure.
