In our latest interview we are welcoming Fragmento, head of Asymmetrical who recently released his LP ANALYSIS.
Hello Fragmento, how are you? How would you introduce yourself to our readers?
Hi guys i am doing well, hope you also !
What would you say make Berlin good destination for upcoming producers and DJs and what drew you to it?
Well, at the moment as somebody completely dedicated to my family, I am trying to reach a good level of construction of my sounds.
Tell us something about your label? How did you come to the idea of starting a label?
Asymmetrical Code is my key where i can express the most sentimental part of my life through sounds that make a really peaceful techno for who really cares to live a different experience in the dance floor. It was always one of my dreams to have my label and working hard with many bad and good moments. This did make it real!
Is it important for a producer to have his own label?
There are many ways to be happy i think , it depends if your happiness consists in copy paste tracks which are really welcome in many places or if it consists in organizing your live with new sounds and expose it as a book.
Are you satisfied with the feedback for your album so far? Which track would you say is the most appealing?
Analysis Is my first album which i did make around 2 years ago in a really bad moment of my life where my mac got a problem and I did loose the project just able to rescue the bounce of it , with not so many instruments basically based in audio recording and one old organ .
Well to be honest there are 2 special tracks which are Lorenzo, who is my first son, and the other one is Luna, which is my daughter.
I recently saw the video of you playing at iconic Tresor Berlin, what memories do you have of this gig?
Tresor was the beginning of many things in my life. I have really good memories about it and even if us ways got split cause of us different view of the techno scene I am really grateful to the person who did bring me there to make some noize!
What are your plans for the near future and where can we hear you play in the following weeks?
For now i can say that I am working on a bunch of releases, enjoying also the first time with all my family and with my new equipment. I am still waiting for gigs of some serious person who I can work together with and making a nice plan of gigs. For now I did quit with personal contacts or crews.
Thanks so much for your time and support Techno Station
