With just three weeks to go until the worldwide release of their new studio album ‘VISION’ on October 25, Italian electronic music duo Hunter/Game now drop the final lead single to be taken from the upcoming long player. Out now via their own Milan-based record label Just This, ‘All I Wanted’ marks the third single from Emmanuele and Martino’s third studio album, following the critically lauded release of ‘Stars’ and ‘Last Hour’ in May and June respectively.
Positioned amongst an elite group of artists who have dominated the international electronic music scene over the past few years, Hunter/Game’s ability to fuse cutting edge analog instrumentation with avant-garde production techniques is second to none. Opening the grandiose, six-minute cut with staccato synths and crisp hi-hats, the duo’s robust beats and warped textures are complimented perfectly by otherworldly samples and longing male vocals, with a series of mind-bending synth lines forming the backbone of the tripped-out, cosmic narrative.
Having established a reputation as one of the most unique acts to emerge onto the global electronic music scene over the past decade, Hunter/Game’s rise to global stardom has been studded with several impressive career milestones. The release of ‘VISION’ will mark yet another career-defining moment for the in-form duo, who return to Just This armed with an remarkable catalogue of career releases on the likes of Afterlife and Kompakt, amongst others.
The release of ‘All I Wanted’ also comes just one week ahead of the launch of Hunter/Game’s stunning new AV concept show ‘VISION’, which debuts at EartH in London’s East End on Friday, October 11, in partnership with Fabric. For tickets and further information head to https://ra.co/events/1986517
