Last night at Tomorrowland Unite festival in Barcelona a huge fire broke out on stage which lead to evacuation of everyone present.

Crowd of around 22,000 people was evacuated from the site and, by the early reports, pyrotechnics were the one to blame.

Eyewitnesses reported on social networks that the stage “just exploded” due to technical problem. By the statements of many,  it looks like the fire started during the firework effects.

In their statement on Facebook, Tomorrowland promoters thanked the professional intervention of the authorities for the safety of festival-goers and announced further investigation. Their official statement about the event is expected soon.
