When it comes to classics of electronic music, ‘Insomnia’ is right on the top of the list. There is probably no fan of electronic music that hasn’t heard this Faithless tune.
Produced by remarkable British band and released as their second single, ‘Insomnia’ ended up being one of their most successful tunes. It was released back in 1995 and became a hit in Dance Charts and on dancefloors around the globe. More recently “Insomnia” was voted by Mixmag readers as one of the greatest dance records of all time.
Only two years after it was release, ‘Insomnia’ got new versions by Sister Bliss and Armand Van Helden. Some of you may even heard the unsuccessful remix Avicci did. Now, new version that transformed the classic into more contemporary tech track is here and it’s going strong. Andrew Meller, known for his previous remix of ‘Born Slippy’, this time delivered ‘Insomnia’ that reached the 5th position on Beatport overall chart.
