Italian underground mainstay Enrico Sangiuliano continues the countdown of releases on his label NINETOZERO with fantastic new single ‘Can U Feel It’. This latest track is the first of two from his upcoming new EP and it comes on the heels of the label’s recent Glitch In Time EP, which featured his standout title track and innovative sounds from next generation Italian talents. ‘Can U Feel It’ arrives across all streaming platforms on May 10th.
NINETOZERO is a time-limited record label restricted to 10 chapters that aims to disrupt the notion of perpetual music. It will become dormant once it gets to release number 0 having started at 10, and has already put out plenty of vital music with his new single ‘Can U Feel It’ being part of the sixth release. Sangiuliano is an accomplished artist who never stops evolving, asking questions through music and exploring new sonic realms. Whether remixing classics and topping the charts, serving up high class club tracks or plenty in between, he is a vital voice in the techno conversation. Last time out he contributed the ‘Glitch In Time’ track to an EP that platformed a wealth of next generation talent, and this time out he shows off a very different side to his sound.
Enrico Sangiuliano on his new single: “‘Can U Feel It’ is the first part of the upcoming Chapter of NINETOZERO. This track explores the connection between auditory perception and physical sensations. Instead of going for a traditional dance track with a straight four-to-the-floor kick drum, I wanted to give both kick and bass more room to evolve and resonate, resulting in this more breakbeat type of thing. There’s a lot of movement in the low end, beyond the audible spectrum for the listeners to engage with a sense of vibration. Can U Feel It?”
‘Can U Feel It’ finds Sangiuliano exploring a subtly-euphoric rave sound that has a more mainstream appeal and is sure to be perfect in big club rooms and large festival mains stages this summer. The well crafted track is powered by blistering breakbeats, lit up with trance infused chords and has a filtered vocal that layers in extra emotion. The Acid Boost version is turbocharged with extra 303 energy and a Radio Edit brings the uplifting synths and angelic vocals to the fore.
This is another forward-thinking release from the vital Enrico Sangiuliano.
