UK duo Dense & Pika are, in the opinion of many, moving techno sound to its further limits.
Know for their distinct style, in recent interview with Ibiza Voice Dense & Pika spoke about development of techno and how they thinks its “no longer the sound of the future” as it used to be. But one thing is certain – their musical output seems to constantly sound unique and forward thinking.
Now Dense & Pika prepared new EP for Drumcode named ‘Suki’. Made with more melodic vibe and fusing elements of house and techno, this release is something different compared to their previous work.
Tittle track heavily utilizes the distinct harmonic tones while ‘Little Sun’, highlight of their sets D&P last few months, is a perfect example of Drumcode sound. ‘Lanky’ closes out the release with an infectious slab of wonderfully wonked-out raw funk. EP is out on August 8th.
