This week on CLUB ZOOM IN we are covering one of the hottest clubs in Berlin, Ritter Butzke.
Ritter Butzke is located on the ground floor of a former factory in Kreuzberg.
The spacious club is situated in an old factory building in Moritzplatz, so of course there’s lots of room for creativity. Vividly decorated walls, coloured lights and different floors with witty names and extravagant decorations, with chandeliers and mirror balls as far as the eye can see.
It began as an illegal club in 2007, but went official two years later. The venue has three main dance floors, plus an outdoor courtyard that’s open in the summer. Musically the main focus is House & Techno.
The DJs and the crowd are most often Berliners. The club has a big cast of residents and regulars that has included Niconé, Matthias Schuell and Prismode & Solvane.
