Aphex Twin hasn’t released a new video for 17 years. That is what it took him to get the inspiration. He lived in Moscow for a few years, seen hanging out with the local posse in the bars, making friends with musicians and being generally modest and nice.
The new video Aphex Twin released is for his “CIRKLON3 [ Колхозная mix ]” yesterday, was directed by a 12-year old from Dublin.
Aphex discovered Ryan Wyer through his youtube channel.
The name of the track “Колхозная mix” comes from a Russian word “колхоз”, which cannot be translated to English, but means something like a community farm.
