One of the main venues in Copenhagen has lost Government funding. The support will be cut from 2017 and the club management says that will make a great impact on local nightlife.
For 12 years, the club has been considered a cultural venue and was getting €240,000 per year. The money went to maintaining facilities and booking the likes of Ellen Allien, Moritz von Oswald, Nina Kraviz and others.
“We are shocked that The State of Denmark has decided to remove the cultural support for the venue, and by that the support for electronic music culture.” – Stated in the press-release.
