Titled ‘Prisoner,’ this is the second track unveiled from the hard techno star’s upcoming debut album, following ‘Heaven’ featuring ALT8. Though full details are still awaited, the album will be released under her own HEKATE label.
‘Prisoner’ came about from a text Landry sent to Farrell upon his arrival in Amsterdam late last year. The pair promptly hit the studio and completed the track on the spot, just in time for Farrell to include it in his set at the Verknipt techno rave that evening.
“Alex is one of my favourite producers right now and a regular on HEKATE, so when it came to deciding which artists I wanted to work with on my upcoming collab album, it was a no brainer to cook something up with him. ‘Prisoner’ is a peak set thumping banger and it has torn the roof off some of the clubs I’ve played at recently. You can really hear both mine and Alex’s production styles in this one. It is the ideal follow up track to ‘Heaven’ to show the vibe of what to expect from the rest of the album”
