Launched back in February of this year on Octopus Recordings, Marc Houle and Sian’s Marsian project has quickly established itself as a name to take note of both within the studio and the booth. Having quickly garnered key support across their first two EPs from some of the industry’s leading names including Sasha, Noir and Dense & Pika, and following their recent eleven date Americas tour, which also included a debut live performance at the Octopus Recordings label showcase in Detroit, here we see the duo return to deliver their dynamic third EP entitled ‘Chromatic’.

Lead track ‘Chromatic’ opens proceedings as rumbling sub tones combine with electro-tinged stabs, whilst regimented kicks march forth with authority underneath twisting and warping otherworldly synths. ‘Convergence’ then arrives in a similar guise as Sian and Houle go to work fusing harsh bass licks, ominous vocal interjections and haunting, trippy synth lines to punctuate the EP in style.
