Nina Kraviz’s Трип was initially intended as a platform for releases, which are sort of a musical book, where all tracks are related to a particular story and create a “continuous sonic landscape”. With the new release, due on May 20th, the label goes back to that format and this time, the story is a conversation between Kraviz and the illustrator, who makes all the label’s artwork, Tombo.
Nina Kraviz is one of the artists, who live in a world, full of feelings and imagination, she brings her music to the world through a hard to carry filter of “emotional shit”, which brings her to the top of creativity, as she once told in an interview.
The soon to be out release is a 7-track “When I was 14” conceptual album with works from Nina, Bjarki, Barcode Population, Biogen and AFX, which is another alias of Richard D. James, known as Aphex Twin.
“All things are relative and all eyes are different,” Kraviz says. “In the end it’s important to grow and shape your opinion, make up your own.”
